The LSU Tigers beat the Arkansas Razorbacks 33-30 in overtime just now when the Arkansas kicker missed a 36 yard field goal just a bit wide right, after LSU kicker Josh Jasper booted the go-ahead field goal from the same distance in the same spot.

Some redemption for last week's time management debacle, as the Tigers fell behind 30-27 with 1:20 left, but drove down the field for Jasper to kick a 41 yard field goal with :04 left to tie the game and force overtime.

Trindon Holliday had a 87-yard punt return touchdown that gave LSU a 17-3 lead midway through the 2nd quarter.

LSU won the Golden Boot for the first time since 2006.

The Tigers finish the regular season 9-3, 5-3 in SEC play. Right now, it is being projected by the various sports websites(CollegeFootballTalk, FOX Sports, CBS Sports) that LSU will end up in the Cotton Bowl at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas Jan. 2nd against either Nebraska(coached by former LSU defensive coordinator Bo Pelini) or Oklahoma State(LSU coach Les Miles was coach there before taking the LSU job when Nick Saban left for the Miami Dolphins job).

So Black Friday can come over here and be my bitch. Why? Because I spent all day running my errands before work then went to the mall store to clean it up and close it down, and didn't break a sweat. To my manager, who constantly called and harassed me at work last week about how busy and insane it was going to be yesterday, feel free to bugger off.

Take that, soul-crushing retail industry. You're not crushing any spirits this weekend.

So uh. After a brief existential crisis last night, brought on by hormones and a little late-night self-reflection (blah blah trust issues, blah blah can't love), I went to bed with a title and a few loose ideas about the restless undead and suits made of human flesh in mind. When I woke up this morning, I had a cast, a time and setting, an outline and a narrative structure laid out.

Basically? I write short stories in my sleep. People should be paying me for this stuff.

I'd really like to stop cluttering up this group... is there anyone who's still only getting the story from here?

So. Sometimes you sit around and think to yourself, "Gosh, you know, I'm not close to Person X anymore. We used to be such good friends. Maybe I should try to bury the hatchet and just get in touch with her again."

Then you hear from someone about what a catch-phrase-spewing, Bible-thumping, up-her-own-ass sanctimonious prick this person has become. While her sister continues to hide from debt collectors and the state government by giving them your home phone number, and swears you're no longer friends because you just can't accept her being a lesbian.

One day. One day, when everybody I grew up with stops being such crappy people, I will learn to trust and love again. But today is not that day.

*yawns* Omg, finally weekend!! But I cannot believe it, I have a cold! I felt great last night, but when I woke up this morning, I had a sore throat. Just great. That's what I hate the most about having a cold. Took a pill and something for the throat and it was better during the day, but before I came home from work, it got worse again. So now I'm sitting under a blanket, drinking tea, watching some tv and I'll probably go to bed soonish.

And I hope I'll feel at least slightly better for New Moon tomorrow. The thought alone makes me better I think. *g* Can't stop thinking about Daniel Cudmore. *g*

Oh, and I think I have to say thanks to morgentau because she mentioned Chris Kane in one of her entries and last night I dreamed of him. *sighs* And I also read that Leverage will start in the beginning of 2010 here, finally!! Still haven't seen one episode. Shame on me. Sorry, Chris.

Job news... talked to my boss and she said that the chance of me getting a job there isn't that big. She'll talk to her boss though and will tell me what he said. She mentioned that they have too many employees already, so it doesn't look good for me. :-( She said she's sorry to lose me because she can see that I'm having fun and apparently I'm also good at what I'm doing. So far, I didn't make huge mistakes. She's also letting me make orders for customers, and so far, no complaint, so that's good I guess. But well, what does it matter if I don't get a job?... I so don't wanna go back to that stupid ibs shit. :-\

Oh, to hell with my nose! Did I mention that I really, really hate having a cold?

This week is quite hard at work I have to say. Everything hurts and I'm so tired! Thank god it's Friday tomorrow. Which also means, that I have only eight more work days ahead of me and then my internship is over already. Time really does fly! One of the colleagues also quit her job, so maybe that's my chance, huh? Will talk to the boss tomorrow, or at least ask if there's a chance to get a job there.

Saturday, I'm going to see New Moon! *happy dance* Btw, I'm having Rob flashes. The other day, I dreamed of him. I think it was a mix of How To Be and Remember Me, of which I saw a trailer that day. Did you see it? I think it looks really really good. Hopefully, it comes to cinemas here too!

Just watched Ocean's Eleven on tv, now Blade 2 is on - Matt Damon, Norman Reedus and Matt Schulze on one evening? Doesn't sound so bad, does it? ;-)

Btw, Blade... I heard that they're making three more movies, though, without Wesley Snipes, but again with Stephen Dorff. They want to tell Deacon Frost's story. Well, I'd like this very much!

Well, I guess I don't have so much interesting stuff to say today, so I better shut up. Still have a meme to do, but not tonight. Maybe on Sunday when I'm online, if I'm not still high because of New Moon. hehe

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it! Happy Thursday to everyone else.

So, I finished the Kurt/Finn fanmix I've been ~sekritly putting together over the past week, and I am quite pleased with it! The back cover doesn't look the way I wanted it to but everyone seems to like the covers so far, so it's all good. It made me happy making it and posting it, and even though I said I wasn't going to go into Glee fandom, I'm glad I'm tentatively stepping my toes into it. I'm gonna try to start writing a fic tonight. Though I still need to watch all the eps again, but I was mostly just doing that for the fanvid I want to make, so that can wait a little longer.

I can't believe there's only two more episodes and then we have to wait 'til April. And then it'll be on the same time as LOST!!! That is so not fair. >:( How dare you force me to choose, tv networks!

Also, I find it hilarious that right after I post my fanmix (which has Bad Romance as a bonus!crack!track), Chris Colfer tweets about that same song, hahaha.

What is it with tradition? I insist on watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV every single year, only to remember about thirty minutes later that they don't actually show the parade, just interview paunchy celebrities outside of NBC Studios and force me to watch John Stamos lip-synch. Will I ever learn?

I'd wish everyone out there a Happy Thanksgiving, but I don't actually like. Participate in most major American calendar holidays, so. Yeah. Also, the family isn't having dinner until Sunday due to scheduling difficulties, so for me this is like a big fat Get Out Of School/Work Free Card. Here I come, all-day Mythbusters marathon on the Discovery Channel. Hoo-wah.

I think it finally happened: I porned myself out with my last four fics. I keep trying to read the smut on my friends list and I feel only a vague sense of apathy while skimming a few lines, before inevitably hitting the 'back' button. I just. I don't even know.

Another sign of porn exhaustion? I'm currently haunting space_married. In the middle of the night, pondering a slew of domestic fic. With like, character development, hand-holding, and guys raising their boyfriend's kids.
